They’re seeking damages as well as an order by the judge demanding that all copies of the software be destroyed. In so doing, the German resident opened the door for a lawsuit filed in California, according to Epic’s filing.Įpic is suing Kreibich for copyright infringement, unfair competition and breach of contract tied to the end-user licensing agreement. But on June 8, Kreibich filed a request to have his videos reinstated, according to the suit. On June 1 and June 6, Epic sent takedown notices to YouTube for videos created to show off the hack, according to the suit. The hack was advertised on a hacking and cheats site as the “world’s most powerful hack for Paragon.” The ad claimed that the hack added a number of cheating hacks including an aimbot, triggerbot, 3D radar and 2D radar and that it was customizable to make it harder to detect the cheats. It is an Alpha and not a game ready for players that just want to have fun (which is not to say you may not enjoy it at times). I don’t recommend anyone buy in after playing for a while. Maybe that is true point of Early Access, but if you’re thinking about buying in, keep this in mind. Their primary objective is testing stuff just to see how people react and they will make players react no matter what they have to do.

They feel free to make partial changes that break numerous things without a care in the world and then maybe months later they will fix the things they broke. Oh it doesn’t crash and the game works, but the developers don’t care if the game works well at this stage. In any event, steam has conditioned me that Early Access meant playable. I don’t think it will be on steam because they are using epic’s launcher though. I’m not sure it is quite that Alpha, but you’re right, it is advertised as early access. If I were in your shoes I’d just shelve the game until it’s closer to release and give it a spin then! Hell, the jungle creeps don’t even have artwork yet, just basic models with giant “ALPHA CONTENT” labels under them. I can understand being frustrated by balance issues or the UI not being up to snuff, but you probably shouldn’t be playing a game this early in development if those sorts of issues prevent you from enjoying your time spent with a game.Īgain, I get being frustrated, but those sorts of issues are just going to exist at this stage of development. I think you have to expect this kind of thing in a game that’s not even in Steam Early Access yet. For the love of god epic, if you’re making a new hero, play test it at least a little. => The two recently released new heroes, severog and iggy, are severely underpowered. => A major revision to the deck building UI was released missing key features, such as filtering for stats so you don’t have to manually scroll through 50 cards looking for one that has a stat you want Funnily enough even with her main ability doing DOUBLE damage, she was still underpowered and almost never used. => Gadget, someone who most people agree is either the worst, or the second worst, character in the game gets a bug that makes her sticky mine do double damage fixed almost immediately, but her balance problems are ignored. Note that this also breaks the one caster that was worth a damn, gideon This has the effect of making the carry vs casters balance EVEN worse. => +15% speed boost to everyone without modifying any of the COUNTLESS abilities that were designed around the old speed. => All casters except Gideon* SEVERELY underpowered => Carries still WAY overpowered with no action by Epic That is the only thing that can explain their actions. Epic is doing everything in their power to kill it.
